Alison Eggleton is a curator, and visual artist. As a curator she has worked at Horsham Regional Art Gallery and Hamilton Gallery to create exhibitions and public programs.
She originally studied sculpture & spatial practice at RMIT and has since developed an extensive knowledge of Australian photography as part of her curatorial practice. In this capacity she has written exhibition reviews and catalogue essays.
As a visual artist she creates drawings, installations & sculptural objects and has recently begun working with the moving image. She has devised public art projects for Nati Frinj Festival, Natimuk, Victoria, Lost in Sculpture, Dunkeld, Victoria, and worked with artists Anthony Pelchen and Tony Yap at Melaka Arts and Performance Festival, Malaysia. Alison holds a BA in Fine Art Sculpture, RMIT Melbourne and a Graduate Diploma of Museum Studies, Deakin University, Melbourne. This year she is embarking on a MA by Research through RMIT school of art. She lives and works in Regional Victoria, Australia.
